Give A Hand was then created from the belief that individuals can work hard and pull themselves out of poverty. Our motto is: “We provide the opportunity; the individual creates the outcome.”

We partner with local financial institutions such as cooperative Credit Unions to deliver training and access to financial services. In Kenya we partner with AFRESA SACCO.
Your donation allows our program participants to establish a savings account, establish credit, and access microloans to start up a microbusiness.
We support the families with essential needs such as food and water. This puts the focus back on the success of their microbusiness.
Once in the program, the family starts a cycle of financial stability. Even with modest business success, they can now invest in education, healthcare, food and growth of their microbusiness.
